Tolli Love

Chief Investor Relations Officer

Tolli Love serves as United Way Worldwide’s Chief Investor Relations Officer. As a member of the Executive Management Team, she plays a key role in shaping and driving strategic growth plans, fostering teamwork and creativity and ensuring operational excellence and progress towards building one high performance United Way network. She leads a team of 40+ professionals focused on building capacity of the global network to strengthen engagement with individuals and corporations and securing $4.7 billion annually. 

Love joined United Way Worldwide from CARE USA, a $600 million global humanitarian organization, where she served as Vice President, Fundraising & Marketing for five years. Her key accomplishments included: building and executing a three-year strategy to return the organization to financial health and reversing revenue declines growing total revenue by +20% and private revenue by +60%.

Love brings more than 20 years of both corporate and nonprofit marketing and sales experiences to United Way Worldwide. She began her career in global fundraising working for Operation Smile International, based in Norfolk, Virginia. Prior to joining CARE, she served as Vice President and General Manager of Intimate Apparel, at Hanesbrands, Inc., a $500+ million business unit of the fortune 300 global consumer goods company. During her 14-year tenure at Hanesbrands, she leveraged consumer insights to drive innovation and strategic growth plans and led large, complex teams to deliver results on shared objectives. She developed strategies and launched many successful campaigns to deliver growth for Playtex, Bali, Barely There, Wonderbra, and Hanes brands.

Love is a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma International Honor Society. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in mathematics from the University of Virginia, and an MBA from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina. She plans to relocate from Atlanta to Virginia with her husband Don. Together, they have two children ages 18 and 16.
