The Pittsburgh Steelers and United Way of Southwestern Pennsylvania teamed up for this year’s Hometown Huddle at Westinghouse Academy in Pittsburgh’s Homewood neighborhood. Cam Heyward and nine Steelers rookies surprised students for an afternoon of fun and exercise. Each player facilitated a different drill – football toss, a hula-hoop obstacle course, and a sit up competition, just to name a few. The message was clear – working hard, keeping fit, and staying motivated will help you accomplish anything you put your mind to! The afternoon ended with a group selfie – a day the kids will never forget.
