National 211 Data Platform
This platform will aggregate and make available community resources and needs data, enabling analytics, predictive modeling and streamlined access for people and organizations.
Strategic Insights
A new data architecture will maximize our myriad interconnected databases. This build out will deploy artificial intelligence coupled with local specialists to empower and assist people in need, shine a light on resource gaps and emerging trends, and increase the efficiency of the social service ecosystem.
Case Study: Empowering Community Programs
For more than 14 million people, 211 provides free and confidential referrals to social service assistance. We are transforming the network by connecting the databases to leverage insights to predict community needs and fill gaps in near real time coordinating public and private efforts.
Ride United: In 37 cities people can call 211 for free transportation from Lyft to medical appointments, job interviews and food access. When COVID-19 limited accessibility for millions of vulnerable people, United Way partnered with DoorDash to launch “RideUnited’s Last Mile Delivery.” Through this program we have delivered food to thousands of families.
