Omoiye O. Kinney

Omoiye serves as an Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, leading United Way Worldwide (UWW) brand marketing, communications, product innovation, advertising, and digital initiatives.
Previously, Omoiye served as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Technology for the YMCA of Greater Charlotte and several other leadership roles within the YMCA nationally, executing successful multi- media and cause marketing campaigns, integrated strategies supporting key brand pillars and leadership to drive successful programming for more than 2,700 local YMCAs. Additional experience includes leading comprehensive communications, public relations, and social media strategies that shape brand positioning and visibility. She also served within the City of Philadelphia’s Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual Disability Services, driving awareness and engagement campaigns supporting behavioral health advocacy; led public relations for the Southeastern Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Red Cross; and served as News Assignment Editor for 6ABC in Philadelphia. Omoiye holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Springfield College in Springfield, Massachusetts, where she is an adjunct professor.
